She has a bachelor's of science degree in Criminology with a minor in Social Work from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her goal right out of college was to go to Law School to pursue her Juris Doctorate but, she decided to further pursue her career in the insurance industry and relocated to Macon, GA. While there, she obtained her Master's in Business Management and Administration from Wesleyan College where she gained invaluable knowledge and hands on training when it came to all things business. She has been a leader of leaders for over 15 years hiring, interviewing and promoting top talent across the United States. In 2025, she finalized her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership and Development to increase her business acumen and further pursue being a change agent within organizations. Erica has pledged to be a lifelong learner in order to stay abreast of societal issues and barriers that affect the advancement and growth of minorities.

 

In May of 2023, she was inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success Greek organization Sigma Alpha Pi. The NSLS is an organization that provides a life-changing leadership program that helps students achieve their personal growth, career success and empowers them to have a positive impact in their communities.

 

Lastly, Erica studied abroad to Barcelona and Prague where she was able to discuss business aspects with business honors across the country as well as the U.S.
